Due to the success of our summer 2020 season and the ability to still play under the Massachusetts COVID-19 Guidelines, TYB is putting together an in-town fall league for the 2020 season. FALL 2020 SEASON DETAILS

Season will run from Sept. 14 to Oct. 31. That will be a 7-week season with a minimum of a 10-game regular season plus playoffs.

Cost: $150 for 8 YO and up. For anyone born after May 1, 2012, the cost will be $100 (Minor Farm and T-ball).

Divisions and expectations:

16-18 YO: We are gauging interest in this age bracket, and will provide more details depending on what we receive for registrations.

13-15 YO: As of now, we are planning on most games being played on weekends at Obdens and Antonelli Fields. Games might occur on weeknights if we can work with surrounding towns that have lights. We are looking into that now. 

10-12 YO: Most games will be played during the week at the East St. complex. Some games on weekends.

8-9 YO: Most games will be played during the week at the East St. complex. Some games on weekends.

Minor Farm & T-Ball: Mainly weekdays for the start (2 weeks). Will shift to weekends for latter part of the season.

AGE BRACKETS

For the TYB Fall 2020 season, players will be playing the next age group up. So if this year your athlete was a baseball 9, therefore heading into next season would be a baseball 10, they will be playing up in the 10s for the fall league. Please refer to the 2020 TYB Age Chart for your player’s current status, then tack on a year.

* CURRENT 12 YO PLAYERS will have the option to stay in the 12 YO division and not move up to the big diamond. However, we encourage those players to consider giving it a shot.

This will need to come together very quickly with creation of teams, determining coaches, scheduling, etc. We will put a deadline of Friday, August 29 for registrations, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a hard deadline as many things will need to be organized in the following couple of weeks.
