What is Bambino Baseball?

Tewksbury Youth Baseball Bambino Baseball is a program whose main objective is to get our Special Needs children outdoors with their friends, meet new people and having fun! Our aim is to teach them the basics of the game we all love and try to help strengthen their social skills around team work, cooperation, and friendship.  

Our dedicated volunteers or Buddy’s, will work with your athlete one-on-one to teach the skills they will need to play baseball to the best of their abilities. We will work with each athlete at their own skill level with the goal of having them improve week to week.

The athlete will learn the proper throwing, catching and hitting fundamentals. They will be asked to do their best with a can-do attitude.  They will go through skills training equal to those used in the TYB clinic program. and, most importantly, we will have fun! Come and join us!

There is no registration required to attend Bambino Ball.  All interested parties are invited to join us, when in session.

Spring Bambino Ball is typically held from early May through Mid June.

Fall Bambino Ball is typically held from early September to mid October.

We do recommend that you email our Bambino Rep and request to be added to the Bambino email list, so that you can stay informed regarding session dates, times, and locations.

Our 2025 Fall Bambino Season has come to a close.  Thank you to all of the volunteers that made this season possible.  Bambino Ball will return in the Spring of 2026.
